Tried to call in Saturday, but couldn’t get past your call screener. I wanted to make a point about the anniversary of the Norway shootings and how gun control FAILED to stop that tragedy. Your call screener had never heard of this. Oh well…

I bought a gun because I didn’t want to be the only one without one. So I went ahead and got the concealed carry too. It’s odd, once you get used to it if you don’t have it you feel like you are walking around without shoes or something. All women should have a concealed carry permit. My wife and daughter went to the classes with me too.
My daughter and I went to lecture by John Lott, the “More Guns, Less Crime” guy at a university here. Very good talk and we both read the book. And it’s true too. Crime has dropped a lot in the last 20 years, FBI stats showing some of the majors dropping about 50%. Except in places like Chicago, where the society has been ‘disorganized’ by the community organizers and the democratic party machine. Like Detroit too. Chicago has strict gun control laws, which of course do more harm than good, because the old saying is true: If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.
