Even Instagram Can’t Make My Day Job Look Cool: A Slideshow

Instagram makes everything look cool. I instagrammed a photo I took of myself for BigFurHat’s Breitbart is Here video and look how much cooler it is AFTER it was Instagrammed.

I had thought Instagram could make everything look cool. Boy was I wrong!

As some of you know, I have a day job. This is why I can’t bring you as much Sunny TV awesomeness as I’d like to, or write as many stimulating satires as you’d like me to.

Recently I tried to make my day job look cool by using Instagram. It didn’t work. See for yourself:

Notice the desk calendar? It’s an Awkward Family Photos calendar. Some days there are pictures I have to hide because they are NSFW. But it really helps me get through my day. (That and the Starbucks you also see pictured.)

This conference room reminds me of Mad Men. It reminds me of how far backwards into bland we have fallen compared to the offices of an Ad firm in NYC in the 60′s. Shouldn’t things get better as the decades go by? Yes, I have an iPhone, but we don’t go to the moon anymore, my office has no Rosewood Danish Modern anything, and I can’t smoke and drink scotch at my desk all day. BACKWARDS! (Wait, isn’t that Obama’s campaign slogan?)

Not only does Instagram NOT make this coffee machine cool, the coffee it produces doesn’t taste very good either. Every time I drink it I get immediate stomach cramps.
